Ranveer Singh’s Astonishing Transformation For Gully Boy

Ranveer Singh, who had put on a lot of flex for his role in Padmaavat, has undergone a drastic transformation. The actor’s physical change is surely surprising.

He shared his picture on  Instagram with the caption, “#padmaavat —> #gullyboy.” In the snap, we can see how Ranveer Singh looked a year ago, while he was prepping for the role of Alauddin Khilji for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus. Now, for Gully Boy, the actor plays the role of a rapper for which he has undergone yet another body transformation.

A few days ago, SpotboyE.com brought to you the pictures from the sets of the film where Alia Bhatt was seen wearing a burkha.

Several pictures of Ranveer have been floating all over social media a few weeks where he can be seen attending rapping workshops and interacting with real-life rappers. Not only this, the actor has also engaged in a rap battle, of sorts, with the professionals and seems to have picked up the art well. Check out the video below:

Prior to that, SpotboyE.com had even told you that the actor had taken off to New York to commence work for Gully Boy post wrapping Padmavati.Gully Boy is a coming-of-age film inspired by two real-life rappers from Mumbai’s chawls – Rapper Divine aka Vivian Fernandes and Rapper Naezy aka Naved Shaikh. Ranveer Singh will play one of the rappers in the film.

Talking about Ranveer Singh playing him in to the film, rapper Divine said, "He's a cool guy and already dresses like a rapper so he needs no tips in the fashion department from me. It is one thing to get audiences to wake up and listen to our kind of music, which is not about girls, gold, and drugs but about real life in Mumbai. But it is an even greater thing when mainstream actors like Ranveer chose to be a Gully Boy. He's now a part of our movement."
